Leshnica

Completely new mountaineering experience is the visit to Dolna Leshnica. Very rarely visited destination despite being considered the most beautiful part of Shara. Maybe because of the delicate access. Leshnica is a valley of Shara Mountain, located in the middle, ie in the chest of Shara Mountain. Also called the heart of Shara, this valley is adorned with a special location and beauty. The largest Tetovo river Pena passes through it and then merges with the Leshnicka River, and in the distance, you can see the highest point of Shara Mountain, the summit Titov Vrv. It is divided into Dolna Lesnica which is at 1450 meters above sea level and Gorna Lesnica which is 2221 meters above sea level. This locality is characterized by alpine character, high rocks, dense evergreen, and beech forest, as well as rich flora and fauna that can be found only in this place. Of particular importance are forest fruits such as blueberries, raspberries, and various types of herbs and plants. Near Leshnica, on the road to the Krivoshijski waterfall, there is also the Krivoshijski cascade, or popularly known among the people as Krivoshijski kadi. The beautiful waterfalls that due to the refraction of light, the giant pots, as well as the echo of the waterfalls, are a cooling challenge for the bravest.
